One of our incredible psych students, Andrea Taylor, is raising money to go directly to MA hospitals to purchase much needed PPE supplies (masks, shields). The way it works is that for every $10 raised, one member of the team walks/runs a mile. Merrimack students are on the team as well as Prof. Seitchik. MAKE US RUN!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Walk for COVID-19 Relief, In a time of so much uncertain… Andrea Taylor needs your support for COVID-19 Relief walk/run THON

Our amazing senior Travis Ciempa introducing his senior capstone project. He drew from his two majors of Psychology and Theater to create this interactive theater experience called Addiction in the Family. This is a directed and devised interactive performance that allows the audience to explore the archetypal roles of family members struggling with addiction in real time. The audience is able to witness/encounter the external and internal struggles of the Addict, Enabler, Hero, Scapegoat, Mascot, and the Lost Child.

If you can make it for the final performance, you should go! The performance will be held in Steven’s Auditorium (Cushing Hall) on March 2nd at 2:00 pm.

On Wednesday, September 26, from 7-9 pm in the Rogers Center for the Arts Lobby, two dozen Liberal Arts alumni working in a great variety of industries (including non-profits, law, education, media, public service, financial services, and social and clinical services) will be on campus to meet with you and share career experiences and perspectives. Whatever your major status or year in school, this is an excellent opportunity for you to meet some alumni who are using their Liberal Arts degrees in very profitable, productive, and interesting ways.

The event will include a keynote address by Sean Kavanagh, CEO of the Ariel Group and a psychology alumnus, and plenty of time for networking. Free food and drink will be provided.

RSVP through Handshake: www.bit.ly/LibArtsCareer2018

In addition to the event itself, we will be hosting a pre-event Networking Workshop in McQuade Library from 6:00 to 7:00pm where O'Brien Center Advisors will provide some tips for making the most of the event (including how to network like a pro). Space is limited; to RSVP for the pre-event workshop, register through Handshake: www.bit.ly/LibArtsPreEvent2018
