This marks an exciting and historic moment for the Culinary Institute of Charleston as we celebrate the passage of the Culinary Arts Management Bill legislation. This achievement represents more than a legislative milestone. It reflects a shared vision for the future of culinary education and the recognition of the vital role our industry plays in shaping communities, businesses, and future leaders.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone whose dedication, advocacy, and belief in our mission helped make this possible. Their support has opened doors for expanded opportunities, stronger educational pathways, and an even brighter future for our students.

As we look ahead, we are energized by what this means for the next generation of culinary professionals. We look forward to continued innovation, creating stronger industry partnerships, expanding educational opportunities, and preparing students not only to excel in the kitchen, but to lead, inspire, and shape the future of hospitality and culinary management.

Bill Allows Trident Tech to Pursue Applied Baccalaureate Degree in Culinary Arts Management

The S.C. Legislature approved the bill for a new four‑year Applied Baccalaureate in Culinary Arts Management, expanding opportunities for Trident Tech students and strengthening South Carolina’s workforce. This applied bachelor's degree program will build on the success of The Culinary Institute of Charleston and help prepare future leaders in the state’s thriving hospitality industry.
