RA SPOTLIGHT | Jules Rondeau

Meet Jules Rondeau, one of our dedicated RAs in the Sem! Jules embraces the RA role as a true leadership opportunity... one that extends far beyond the residence halls.

Reflecting on why they enjoy being an RA, Jules shared: “I enjoy being an RA because I like the leadership position and everything that comes with it. The role teaches you skills you use in your everyday life not just at in class or the res halls but just helpful life lessons.”

The most rewarding part of the role for Jules is simple, yet powerful: “Being able to help people. [Residents] come to you with questions or needing advice, and you have the opportunity to support them.”

Some of Jules’ most memorable moments come from connection, uplifting staff meetings and walking around campus hearing someone call their name, a reminder of the impact they’re making.

Through the RA role, Jules has grown by learning how to set boundaries, prioritize self-care, and rebuild confidence. They’ve also strengthened one of the most important leadership skills they’ll carry forward: clear, effective communication.
