European Choir Tour 2026!
Day Seven: Ingolstadt and Regensburg, Germany

We had a change of plans and spent the day instead exploring the city of Regensburg before returning to Ingolstadt for an evening performance. After the concert, students wrapped up their day by heading home with their host families for a time of connection and fellowship.

European Choir Tour 2026!
Day Five: Wengen, Switzerland

Students had a free day to explore Wengen! Some took the opportunity to participate in a super hike through the Swiss alps! Others explored the town and surrounding areas.

European Choir Tour 2026!
Day Four: Bern and Wengen, Switzerland

The choir stopped in Bern, Switzerland for some lunch and to visit the city’s iconic bear exhibit. Then the group took a train up to Wengen, Switzerland to settle into the Falcen Hotel. The group enjoyed a provided three course meal to finish out the day!

European Choir Tour 2026!
Day Three: Wissembourg, France; Oberderdingen and Bretten, Germany

We had breakfast and said goodbye to our gracious hosts in Wissembourg, France, before boarding the bus to travel back Germany. Our concert that night was in Oberderdingen, and we were first given a historical tour of the church’s and town’s long history. The concert that night raised money for the grounds to be kept up in its old age. After the concert, we stayed the night in nearby Bretten.

(Belated) SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Josúe Coy Dick

Josué is a Bible & Religion. Peace & Conflict Studies, Social Work, and Music (violin performance) major (yes, all four!). He plans to get a masters in Social Work while taking violin lessons from Dr. Tim Jones at WSU, and begin working for the DCF. Josué enjoyed the fun and diverse music that Prof. Kris Hilding programmed for the Chamber Orchestra. A piece of advice he’d give to current and incoming music students is to practice and take advantage of all the opportunities to make beautiful music.
