Health Occupations Administrative Assistant:

Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for a part-time Health Occupations Administrative Assistant. This position is located in North Platte. Responsible for general office duties such as answering phones, office coverage, and assisting with mailings. This position will work with students enrolled in all health programs as well as faculty in those program areas and will assist with enrolling students, reviewing application packets, and assisting students through the application process. Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Lab Assistant

North Platte Community College is seeking a part-time lab assistant to work in the HVAC/R Technology classroom and lab. This position is approximately 28 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – noon. Mid-Plains Community College is looking for a qualified Shooting Club Coach who has the ability to coach and instruct proper shooting technique, plan engaging and skill building practices, and oversee all aspects of running a highly competitive shooting team. This position also requires someone who can recruit high performing shooters and oversee travel plans and fund raising for the team. EMS/CPR Coordinator:
This position is able to be housed in North Platte, Broken Bow, or Valentine.

Responsible for managing and coordinating the EMS/CPR program at Mid-Plains Community College – North Platte and community campuses. Responsible for supervision of adjunct faculty and part-time staff in the department, student clinical oversight, AHA course offerings for the entire MPCC area, and overall responsibility for the course offerings of the northern tier of the service area and community campuses. This position will also maintain the program’s state certification as a training agency. This position is able to be housed in North Platte, Broken Bow, or Valentine.

Career/Test Center Specialist:

Mid-Plains Community College (MPCC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Career/Test Center Specialist. This full-time position is based in the North Platte Community College North Campus. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: operating the day-to-day duties of the Career and Professional Testing Center including monitoring schedules, handling technical aspects, maintaining necessary equipment; performing administrative tasks such as record-keeping, taking of payments, scheduling and tracking accounts; and serving as a test proctor for MPCC students and others while maintaining an accurate inventory of testing materials; assist with career development, exploration, and job placement activities for MPCC. Responsibilities include working with the four-community campus student population and other clients as needed. This position will be required to participate in college committees and programs to contribute to the growth and success of MPCC and Career Services.
