The MCSW is especially interested in hearing from q***r women of color, LGBTQIA+ immigrant women and non-binary people, and anyone whose identities sit at the intersections of marginalization.

This event is open to the public. Stories and concerns will be included in the MCSW Fall 2023 report to state-level decision-makers.

Cara Callahan (she/her) will be speaking at the Careers in Reproductive Healthcare and Justice panel on Thursday, April 6! Register in Handshake here: bit.ly/3Ltv4Xe

After spending nearly a decade at Planned Parenthood League of MA, Cara is now the Director of Intake for the abortion fund she co-founded with q***r, Black and Indigenous people, Tides for Reproductive Freedom.

Cara's abortion story was featured in the Fall 2022 PopSugar piece 50 States 50 Abortions where she represented Massachusetts. Cara is also a Union organizer and helped PPLM staff win their election represented by SEIU 1199 in July 2022.

Some fun facts about Cara are that she has a twin brother and two sisters that are twins, she loves American Sign Language and has a certificate in Deaf Studies from Holyoke Community College.

Eleanor is based in Chicago, IL. She is the Director of Advocacy and Partnerships at Jane’s Due Process where she leads youth advocacy at the Texas legislature and State Board of Education using TikTok, Minecraft, and Instagram.

She provides youth advocates with deep and meaningful guidance and support to feel truly cared for and empowered in advocacy work. She centers youth voices in reproductive rights, health, and justice spaces in state and national coalitions.
