The Paine Mountain Anchor Challenge Trail Race is just over 3 weeks away! The trails on the course are in good shape following the July flooding with repairs completed but parts of the Northfield Town Forest trails need major repairs. The new Norwich home XC course on the Rugby pitch is also under repair and additional funds and future development will be needed to complete the process but work has begun! The home meet is still set for Saturday, October 14th!
Consider supporting the trail recovery efforts and development of the Norwich home XC course by participating in the Anchor Challenge 6k trail race or donate online at the webstore or in person at the event on September 22! We appreciate your support!

The Norwich XC team is excited to announce that registration has opened for the Paine Mountain Anchor Challenge Trail Race to be held on Homecoming weekend on Friday, September 22 at 5 pm. The event is a fundraising event for the new Norwich XC course and the Paine Mountain trail network shared by the Town of Northfield and Norwich University. After the devastating floods in Vermont and surrounding states, support is needed to repair and rebuild the trails and the future NU XC course. Come for the run, stay for the fun! Donations are accepted through the Norwich Alumni event website and by purchasing an event tee to pick-up on race day.

Congratulations to Melissa Hango for being named Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year! Melissa was announced the winner at Norwich’s senior athlete dinner. 🙌🏆🙌

Melissa is a senior and was a co-captain of the team.

Congratulations to Haddie Lary for winning Norwich's Morin Smith Award! This award is for outstanding student teaching and includes a cash award. Haddie is a senior on our women's cross country team and was a co-captain this fall. Nice work Haddie! 🙌

The 2018 NCAA Division III National Champion Norwich University Women’s Ice Hockey team continued their victory tour tonight with a trip to Fenway Park to throw out the first pitch prior to the Yankees taking on the Red Sox!
