Today's Biology Class of 2022 Feature is Sophie Adams! "I was born in Thailand and moved a few more times before coming to the U.S. (Pennsylvania) when I was 11. My majors are Biology and Studio Art, and I have a concentration in Nordic Studies. I have been interested in Biology since I was a little kid, and I’ve always taken inspiration from nature for my art! Because of this, I hope to go to grad school in Europe for a degree in scientific illustration :-) "

Today's Biology Class of 2022 Feature is Anabel Heinig! "Hi! I’m from Oak Park, IL which is right outside Chicago. I chose St. Olaf for the rigorous academics and the positive and uplifting community! Being a biology major has allowed me to expand the way I think, write, and learn. I chose it because of my fascination with life, specifically in a cellular and genetic context. I am a double major in psychology and this pairing weaves together my interest in how biology affects mental health and the brain. When I’m not studying, I love spending time with loved ones and exploring new cities! After graduation, I will be taking a gap year to work before going to graduate school for psychology or social work. Thank you to the biology department and everyone at St. Olaf who made my time here so amazing!"

Today's Biology Class of 2022 Feature is Morgan Smith! "Hi! My name is Morgan Smith and I am a biology and environmental studies major from Cloquet, Minnesota. I chose these majors because from a young age I have spent as much time as possible outdoors. I love to hike, camp, and spend days out on the lake. The outdoors has been such a special place for me and my family, and is a big part of who I am today, and I can’t wait to work towards protecting and preserving it! When I’m not in the library studying, you can find me dancing, hiking, or hanging out with friends. After graduation, and a few gap years with seasonal work, I hope to pursue a masters in wildlife biology or limnology (I haven’t decided just yet)! "
