The Cultural Union for Black Expression

The Cultural Union for Black Expression CUBE is an organization that discusses issues relating to the African-American/Black American communities and its relevance to St. Olaf College.

In collaboration with SARN, CUBE is hosting an anti-domestic violence donation drive for February and March (Women’s month) that will benefit the Women’s Advocate Shelter in St. Paul, MN. I was born and raised in a small city in California. I have my bachelor of science in communications emphasizing public relations with a minor in sociology. I have over 5+ years in various roles overseeing student organizations, elementary school programs, afterschool programs and working full time in ResLife.
My passion for CUBE is to support young black professionals and helping them grow into an individual that contributes back to the community. Being the advisor for CUBE is very important to me because it is the foundation of changing the narrative and creating more than a pipeline but a community for all young black students on this campus.
