On this episode of 🏃‍➡️Walk @ CSUN, we’re looking at the Creative Maker Studio with our peer coach, Sage!

📖 Located in the west wing of the library, this space offers a BUNCH of technology available for FREE to any CSUN student! These include 3D printers, button makers, sewing machines, editing stations, and rooms for podcast/audio recordings, greenscreens, and even VR/gaming!

📷 The CMS also offers multi-week and multi-hour EQUIPMENT RENTALS for cameras, tripods, audio equipment, lights, and other accessories. Again, all free!

🤔 Lastly, they also offer workshops to teach about various software and other related topics. The student assistants at the CMS have unique specialties, if you’re looking for specific help! (library.csun.edu/technology/cms/support-workshops)

A shout out to all the peer coaches who made this year amazing! 🌟👏🏼

We want to thank all the peer coaches for their hard work and dedication to this program for the 2024-2025 academic year. They all helped the program become what it is today. Most importantly, they helped their students succeed in their endeavors and become a part of a community.

We would like to congratulate peer coaches who have graduated and will be graduating soon. We would also like welcome returning peer coaches for the next academic year. Thank you for being such an integral part of this program this year. Your commitment and contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Whether it’s meditating on the lawn or getting therapeutic benefits from art, you can relax and enjoy this study breaks. Free snacks are included as well. You can also meet academic advisors, campus resources, and peer coaches for any questions you may have. Let’s enjoy this break together! 😌📚

Tomorrow is a night of joyful music! Listen to the songs of joy from Bach to the present in this spring performance by the Northridge Singers. Some favorite famous choruses and solos like Arvo Paert’s “Solfeggio” and Egan Carroll’s “Music!” will be there to enjoy hearing! This performance will feature three student soloists: Colin Schmaltz, Nelya Coomans, and Egan Carroll. See you there!
