House of REPS at Wheaton College House of REPS (Residents Engaged in Political Science) is a theme house that aims to increase political participation within Wheaton’s student body.

House of REPS (Residents Engaged in Political Science) aims to increase political participation within Wheaton’s student body. House of REPS aims to provide its residents and the community-at-large the opportunity to safely discuss and debate political issues through both ideological and practical lenses, information regarding the multitude of ways one can become involved in government, and the op

portunity to learn about political systems and processes through direct observation and participation. It is well-known in the political arena that college-aged adults are disproportionately underrepresented in political processes and in voter turnout. Students at Wheaton College are, sadly, no exception to this fact. House of REPS believes that a greater level of attention and care must be devoted to democratic principles as a whole, and we believe that our house will help facilitate the discussion and action needed to increase political participation at Wheaton College.
