Omicron Upsilon Omega Omicron Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - providing Service to All Mankind in Norwalk/Stamford, Connecticut.

On April 27, 1985, the Omicron Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was chartered at LePavillion Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut. Since its inception, Omicron Upsilon Omega has been committed to providing community service and outreach in the Norwalk and Stamford communities. Our program initiatives include: awarding more than $80,000 in scholarships to area high school

students; working with Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Stamford for an annual teen entrepreneurial and employment program, S.A.G.E. (Students Achieving Greater Excellence); mentoring local youth through after-school and summer programs; hosting an annual Pink & Green breakfast for senior citizens; and collaborating with local organizations such as the George Washington Carver Center, the Yerwood Center, NAACP, Urban League, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., 100 Black Men of Stamford, and the Fairfield County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated to further support our service programs.

Today we celebrate 38 years of sisterhood, scholarship, and service within the Stamford/Norwalk, CT communities! Thank you to our 25 charter members for having the vision to establish an ongoing community service presence in lower Fairfield County. We are forever grateful and look forward to being of service for many years to come!
