Meet Jeannette Rodriguez she is running for either Secretary or Treasurer!
Hello fellow PTK members, My name is Jeannette Rodriguez. I am have been participating with PTK since March 2020. It has been an honor to be a part of this prestigious club and I am excited to express my interest for the secretary and/or treasurer position with PTK. Spring 2020, will be my final semester before graduating with my associates in General Studies this coming May 2021. However, I will be remaining at Three Rivers Community College to pursue the Library Tech Program. A few fun facts about me: I reside in East Hartford, CT with my four children (18,8,5,3). I own a photo booth business and started my own ESTY shop a few weeks ago (fun apparel and products). I am a rabbit mom (Netherland Dwarf named Snowball) and I travel for food. I love photography and traveling. I am learning American Sign Language. I am one class shy from graduating. I hope to τ°τ°e daτ° τ°

Why TRCC: I started at TRCC recently after failing at several different community colleges. After an car accident that almost took my life in December 2018; instead of taking up a hobby as per doctors recommendations, I returned to school. I needed the force to challenge myself professionally and personally. TRCC offered an online General Studies course that fit my schedule. Since than, I have only experienced successful few semesters, great professors and which in turn landed me to this very moment with PTK. I am very fortunate to take this journey towards a board position with TRCC PTK. I believe with my past history of running a non profit organization as president, my skills will help me a successful contribution to our chapter. With the skills of leadership, organization, committed to team work, planning and so much more; I believe I will be a wonder asset to any position elected for. It would be a true honor to be an active leader as a board member. (Jeanette is running for both open positions, please do not vote for her for both of them only choose one)
