The Three Rivers College Foundation was proud to participate in two meaningful celebrations honoring the Class of 2026.

On Friday, May 22, Foundation Board member Dr. Oliver Mayorga welcomed graduates and families at the Nursing Pinning Ceremony at CT State Three Rivers. Foundation Board member Debra Moran also attended in support of our nursing graduates, including several Foundation scholarship recipients featured in these photos.

On Tuesday, May 26, Foundation Board President Chris Jewell shared remarks on behalf of the Foundation at Commencement held at Mohegan Sun, congratulating graduates as they celebrated this important milestone.

Supporting student success remains at the heart of the Foundation’s mission, and we are honored to celebrate alongside our graduates as they begin their next chapter. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Thanks to the Three Rivers College Foundation and the Paul Jones Trust, nursing faculty were able to complete professional development in ATI Clinical Judgment in Nursing Education through Assessment Technologies Institute, an investment that strengthens how students are taught to think, prioritize, and act in real clinical settings. This included 14 full-time and 22 part-time CT State Three Rivers faculty, along with CT CCNP full-time nursing faculty. The result is confident, practice-ready graduates and a 99% NCLEX pass rate.

Our 28th Annual Golf Tournament at Great Neck Country Club was a huge success! Thanks to 88 golfers, amazing sponsors, and our Foundation Board volunteers, we exceeded our $60K goal by more than 8%, raising over $65K for student success!

From student scholarships to campus initiatives, the Three Rivers College Foundation awards over $650,000 annually in support of student success.

One example is the Courtyard Revitalization Project led by Professor Sarah Selke. On Friday, students Sahar Jacobowitz and Chaohua Ren volunteered alongside Master Gardener intern Dave Troge to help transform the courtyard into a hands-on learning space for students and the campus community.
