It’s Native American Heritage Month!
We pause to honor and celebrate our native alumni who were not only the first students at Notre Dame and share deep roots with our university leaders, but also who continue to create a lasting legacy at our lady’s university.

Let’s embrace this month as an invitation to reflect, to amplify native voices, and to walk forward together.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional homelands of Native Peoples including the Haudenosauneega, Miami, Peoria, and particularly the Pokégnek Bodéwadmik/ Pokagon Potawatomi, who have been using the land in which we reside for education for time immemorial, and who continue to do so.
