This past summer, the de Nicola Center cohosted a seminar at Notre Dame Rome discussing "Dante among Theologians," an international group of leading scholars exploring themes of faith, hope, and charity in the works of the poet. “The richness of Dante’s corpus seems to invite and even to require interdisciplinary conversation, where methodological differences can happily coexist in something like the noncompetitive vision of Dante’s own heavenly celestial rose,” said dCEC director Jennifer Newsome Martin.
