The Learning Tree at Saint Mary's College

The Learning Tree at Saint Mary's College is an educational resource center for the Saint Mary's community and the general public. (Madeleva is straight ahead.)

Directions to The Learning Tree: Enter the campus on Brother Andre Drive at THE INN AT SAINT MARY'S (the northern entrance off S.R. 933). Go straight at the stop sign and park in the 2nd Science parking lot to your right. As you face west (your back to S.R. 933), turn left. Follow the sidewalk between the greenhouse on the right and the brick building on the left until it ends. Turn right. Turn le

ft at the end of the sidewalk following the sign to Madeleva. Turn left into the building. You will be entering Madeleva Hall on the west side of the building. The Learning Tree is straight ahead at the end of the hall in room 251. (Madeleva is just a short walk from the Science parking lots.)

The Learning Tree follows the Saint Mary's College academic year.

The Children's Literature library in The Learning Tree is available to The Saint Mary's community. We have over 1,500 books in our collection.

The Learning Tree at Saint Mary's College will reopen at the beginning of Spring semester on February 1, 2021 for The Saint Mary's Community. Currently, we are not open to the general public. Our limited hours will remain Monday through Thursday from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Due to Covid 19, The Learning Tree is currently open only to The Saint Mary's community.

Our limited hours are:
Monday 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Tuesday 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Wednesday 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Thursday 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Appointments are available with a 24 hour notice after
12:30 P.M. Monday through Thursday.

The Learning Tree follows the Saint Mary's College academic year.

Celebrating 175 years

In celebration of Saint Mary’s 175 years, two education majors co-authored a children’s book, “My First Words of Saint Mary’s College.” Come view the book at The Learning Tree. It can be purchased at the Saint Mary’s bookstore in the Student Center.
