“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘what are you doing for others?’” -Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
On this Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on this question and the teaching of Social Justice as outlined by the other CCC—the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We are called to curb and eradicate every form of unjust discrimination against our brothers and sisters. We are called to reduce the sinful inequalities—every single one of them—that persist even in the present day. And, in doing so, we are called to cultivate and use our God-given talents to care for one another with a profound sense of fraternal love.
