The 2025 Math Ducklings have graduated! 🦆
After hatching safely in the courtyard between Hayes-Healy and Hurley Halls, our feathered friends have been lovingly escorted by Mama Duck and Notre Dame Mathematics to their new home at St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Lakes.
Each spring, Mama Duck lays her eggs in the courtyard, which becomes a peaceful duckling nursery once they hatch. Our Department of Mathematics cares for the ducklings by providing proper duck food and water. Once it's time for the little ones to spread their wings, the cross-campus duck processional commences.
From derivatives to duck dives, they’re officially lake scholars now!
