The Reilly Center explores conceptual, ethical, and policy issues where science and technology intersect with society from different disciplinary perspectives. Our purpose is to promote the advancement of science and technology for the common good. The Reilly Center was established in 1985 and now supports a number of education, research, and outreach programs and initiatives, including the PhD pr
ogram in History and Philosophy of Science, the undergraduate minor in Science, Technology, and Values, a Dual-Degree Arts & Letters/Engineering program, and research partnerships with NDNano (the Notre Dame Center for Nanoscience and Technology), the Notre Dame Environmental Change Initiative, and the Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics Initiative. The Reilly Center recently initiated its own research project called ETNSI, Emerging Technologies of National Security and Intelligence.
