Architecture Library, University of Notre Dame The Architecture Library is located in the Walsh Family Hall of Architecture and is part of the Hesburgh Libraries of the University of Notre Dame.

Our hours are:
Monday - Thursday, 8 AM to Midnight
Friday 8 AM to 6 PM
Saturday 11 AM to 5 PM (but closed for home football games)
Sunday 11 AM to Midnight

The library houses over 32,000 volumes relating to Architecture. There are multiple types of collections here, including General, Reference, Course Reserves, New Books, Periodicals, Maps & Atlases, Classical & Traditional Architecture, Archi

tects' Archives, Flat Oversize, Ryan Rare Book Room, Furniture Special Collection, Flat Maps & Plans and DVDs. We also have one standard sized Epson flatbed scanner, 2 11" X 17" Epson flatbed scanners, and one 23" X 33" overhead Indus scanner named "Boris."

Our school pedagogy is now becoming a national reference point for discussing architectural matters.

For over a decade firms around the country have made the journey to Notre Dame campus each spring for the annual School of Architecture Career Fair. From 30 firms in 2014 to over 70 in 2023, students are given the opportunity to meet and interview with principals of architecture to secure internships and jobs for the upcoming summer.
