Guided by the ideal of “faith seeking understanding,” the faculty engage in critical reflection in six areas: moral theology, world religions and world church, history of Christianity, liturgy, biblical studies, and systematic theology.

Alumna Hannah Gillespie '20 will study in the United Kingdom next year as a member of the Marshall Scholars class of 2023. Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a minor in theology.

Building upon her experiences at Notre Dame and as an engineer at Boeing, alumna Hannah Gillespie '20 will study in the United Kingdom next year as a member of the Marshall Scholars class of 2023.

She is the 10th Marshall Scholar in Notre Dame’s history and plans to use the award to conduct research in engineering for international development: https://go.nd.edu/fbbf0e
