We were honored to welcome Bishop Jean-Pierre Vuillemin, Bishop of the Diocese of Le Mans, France, to Holy Cross College today.

Bishop Vuillemin was welcomed by President Dr. Marco J. Clark and spent time touring campus, meeting members of our community, and learning more about the mission and work of Holy Cross College.

We are grateful for his visit and the opportunity to strengthen the bonds that connect the global Church and the Holy Cross family.

As schools across Indiana continue to face educator shortages, innovative pathways into the profession matter more than ever.

We're pleased to see Holy Cross College's Transition to Teaching program highlighted in Northwest Indiana Business. The program helps working adults pursue a teaching license while maintaining full-time employment, creating a practical pathway for talented professionals to bring their experience, leadership and sense of purpose into the classroom.

It's one example of how Holy Cross is responding to real workforce needs while advancing our mission to educate hearts and minds.

Today, we join together in prayer and gratitude as we remember the life and legacy of Rev. David T. Tyson, C.S.C., President Emeritus of Holy Cross College.

A priest, educator, mentor, and visionary leader, Father Tyson devoted his life to Catholic education and the mission of Holy Cross. His leadership helped strengthen and guide Holy Cross College during a pivotal chapter in our history, and his impact continues to be felt across our campus community and beyond.

May we honor his memory by continuing the work he loved: forming students with the competence to see and the courage to act.
