The Towers at CCNY is the first residence hall to be built on the campus of the City College of New York. With the Towers located in the culturally rich neighborhood of West Harlem in Manhattan, New York, there are a number of options for students to explore. The Towers is the only student housing facility at the City College of New York and is an easy walk to classes and other campus activities.

Due to its close proximity to award-winning restaurants by famous chefs, shopping, the world-famous Apollo Theater, and the subway, The Towers is an attractive living option for students.

Here's how to choose your aesthetic before you shop a single thing:

🤍 Clean & Minimal — white bedding, neutral tones, one statement plant. Less is more and your brain will thank you.

🌸 Soft & Cozy — warm lights, textured throws, a gallery wall of your favorite people. Your room should feel like a hug.

🖤 Dark & Moody — deep colors, LED strips, vintage posters. Main character energy from the moment you walk in.

🌿 Earthy & Botanical — wicker, greenery, natural wood tones. Bring the outside in.

We’re moving the center of gravity to the river. 🌊

On June 27th, Harlem Pride 2026 is taking over the expanded waterfront space on 12th Avenue (right between 130th and 132nd). This isn’t your typical commercialized corporate parade — it’s a massive, free, open-air celebration day run in partnership with The Apollo, explicitly built to center LGBTQ+ artists and voices across the African Diaspora.

The Blueprint:

The Site: 12th Ave Waterfront (Expanded space = more room to breathe, dance, and eat).

The Sound: A massive live stage show featuring emerging and established independent musicians.

The Afters: Transitioning right into food vendors, community link-ups, and dancing by the water as the sun dips.

The programming starts at noon, the concert kicks off at 6:00 PM, and it costs exactly $0 to tap in. Bring your people.

The annual West Harlem Summer Jazz Festival is officially back, dropping live music directly into the spaces we live in from now through September.
