National Forensic Academy Collegiate Program

National Forensic Academy Collegiate Program The ONLY residential forensic program of its kind in the United States, and only at The University of Tennessee!!!

This intensive in-residence program at the National Forensic Academy in Oak Ridge prepares students for careers in the field of criminal investigation by increasing their knowledge of forensic science and developing skills in crime scene evidence recovery and submission. Instructional topics include crime scene management, shooting incident reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis, digital phot

ography, DNA evidence, forensic anthropology, and human remains recovery. The program prepares students for careers in criminal justice by increasing their knowledge of forensic science and providing hands-on experience through practical exercises and crime scene simulations. Participants complete written and practical field exams, and develop an extensive student portfolio.
