There are some changes for summer that you should know about.

Our hours have shortened. We're open 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, we now close at 4:00. Our Saturday and Sundays remain the same.

We have suspended making ID cards for the summer as well. We will resume making them in August.

We were saddened to learn of the passing last summer of former Dowling drama professor Ned Bobkoff. Ned founded the college's Loft Theatre and was truly an inspiration to students during the '60s, '70s and '80s.

Here's an interview Ned did with the library back in 2009. He will be missed.

Join us today from 2:30-4 in the Library for Human Trafficking: Myths and Realities. Professor Natalie Jesionka from our Dowling Manhattan Center will be presenting on her work investigating human trafficking, and will offer insight into the complexities of global human trafficking, talk about media portrayals, and discuss her fieldwork.
