OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM OAKLAND CITY

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Oakland City University is suspending the undergraduate program for the 2026-27 academic year.

Our online graduate programs will continue to operate during this time. In addition, the University will continue efforts to sell the carbon capture patent, with the hope of reopening once those efforts are successful. Our final day for now will be May 31, 2026.

We ask that you continue to pray for our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the entire OCU community as we navigate this difficult time together.

Congratulations to Pepe Vidal for tying for 21st overall place in the men's golf NAIA National Tournament 🤩

Pepe finished +11 and tied for 21st overall out of 166 possible players.
Round 1- 71 (+1)
Round 2- 76( +6)
Round 3- 72 (+2)
Round 4- 72 (+2)

"As a coach, it was extremely exciting getting to watch Pepe play golf up close. His ball striking and decision-making are excellent. I am extremely proud of Pepe and can’t wait to get back to it next season!"
