Today is dedicated to spread awareness of the mysteries of outer space beyond the twinkling stars. Space Day was created to promote the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields among young people.

One result of rising rates of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in individuals without intellectual disabilities is that more young adults diagnosed with ASD attend college. TUC’s Dr. Linda Haymes will present a background on college and career preparation for those with ASD with an emphasis on self-management strategies supported with ever changing technology as part of a California Consortium for Behavior Analysis - CCBA workshop this Friday, April 26 at 1:30 p.m. at Cal State East Bay Oakland Center.
