The OMT students are hard at work preparing for season auditions tonight and tomorrow — but before we cast the next season, we’re taking a look back at the incredible work created during OMT’s inaugural production season.

🎤PERFORMANCE DAY!!🎤

Congrats to Oberlin Music Theater student, Jayline Ross, who will be appearing in “54 Sings The Sunday Scaries” at 54 Below tonight! “54 Sings The Sunday Scaries” is a cabaret that dives headfirst into the delicious anxiety of Sunday. An evening full of celebrating the beautiful restlessness and existentialism that comes to us all in the late hours of Sunday night.

🌟OPENING TONIGHT!!🌟

Congrats to our partners at Idaho Shakespeare Festival on their opening night of THE WINTER’S TALE! The production features OMT students Ethan Flanagan (Florizel/Dion/Ensemble) and Jai McAllister (Perdita/Cleomenes/Ensemble).

THE WINTER’S TALE runs through August 29th in Boise, ID. Ticket information can be found in our bio link!

🎤PERFORMANCE DAY!!🎤

Congrats to Oberlin Music Theater alum, Capri Castriotta (’26), who will be appearing in “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself: New Songs to Skewer and Uplift” at The Green Room 42 tonight! “Don't Be So Hard on Yourself” is a concert of new tunes by Alex Syiek built around the idea that we are our own harshest critics. The power we have is in singing the tough love, and letting it go.

Congrats to Oberlin Music Theater student, Seger Ott-Rudolph, who will be appearing in “Callback: The Role You Almost Had” at The Green Room 42 tonight! Featuring performers seen on Broadway, national tours, your favorite TV shows, The Voice, the Jimmy Awards, Off-Broadway stages, and more, “Callback” gives artists the chance to reclaim the roles that almost changed everything — the final callbacks, the near misses, and the “what ifs” they never forgot.

☀️SUMMER WORK SPOTLIGHT!!☀️

Congrats to rising junior, Dru Bramblett, who’s spending the end of the summer at Interlakes Summer Theatre!! Dru is in the ensembles of HELLO, DOLLY! and ANNIE, and will be appearing as Frenchie in CABARET.

HELLO, DOLLY! ran from July 17th-27th. CABARET runs from July 30th-August 9th. ANNIE runs from August 13th-16th.

Congrats to Oberlin Music Theater student, Marcos Salvador Riera, who will be appearing in “Almost Midnight” at The Green Room 42 tonight! “Almost Midnight” brings together musical theater students as they belt, riff, and jam their way through Broadway’s best 11 O’Clock numbers. Expect big vocals and big emotions, from the classics of Hammerstein and Sondheim, to modern greats like JRB, Tom Kitt, & more!

Congrats to Oberlin Music Theater student, Seth Crawford, who will be appearing in “Pop Off and Rock On” at 54 Below tonight! “Pop Off and Rock On” is a dazzling showcase of all the pop/rock songs singers have in their back-pocket but never have had the opportunity to perform outside of an audition room before! From bubbly chart-toppers, to grungy throwbacks, to fully rocking out – “Pop Off and Rock On” will knock your socks off and make you want to get up and dance.
