I love these full circle moments 🦁

Met this customer up in Encinitas, he fell for a pair of Foo Dogs on the spot. We custom ordered them from Vietnam, and four months later they showed up right on schedule.

Foo Dogs have guarded entrances for centuries. Now these two are protecting his home 🏡

You’ve never seen a garden like this. 🌿

Come walk through our sculpture garden in Vista, California — hundreds of hand-carved marble and stone statues in one place. Hindu deities, Buddhist statues, Catholic garden statues, all carved by artists we’ve worked with for decades.

Best quality and biggest selection you’ll find anywhere. Visit in person, or just enjoy the walk. 🙏

These two are just breathtaking.

We’ve carried Kwan Yin on a dragon before, but I always wanted a matching piece, Kwan Yin standing on a koi fish. So we had one made to go alongside it.

They’re each 5 feet tall, hand carved from a single block of marble in Vietnam. When I saw them finished, the word that came to mind was radiant. That’s really the only way to describe it.

Absolutely stunning pieces.

Got to deliver this one myself today 😊

Lala in Huntington Beach had been searching for the right Buddha statue for her backyard, and when we found this Japanese Buddha together, we both knew it was the one.

Seeing him set right into her garden today, right where he belongs, is exactly why I love this job. She told me he’s going to bring peace and good luck to her home, and honestly, that’s the whole point.

Moments like this never get old 🙏

I’ve had this statue in my head for probably 20 years now 🖤

A meditating Mahavir, carved in black marble. Not just any black marble either, I always knew I wanted the veining to run through it just right, and I finally found the stone that does it.

Look at his back. That vein running down where his spine would be, settling right into his shoulder blades. I can’t plan that ahead of time, that’s the stone doing exactly what I always pictured in my head.

He’s got the srivatsa mark on his chest, his lion emblem carved into the base, sitting in padmasana with that same calm, downcast expression Mahavir is always shown with. It’s all in the details.

This one took 20 years to find. Worth every bit of the wait 🙏

Six feet of stone. One block. One of the most profound subjects in all of Vajrayana Buddhism. 🙏

This is a Yab Yum statue, Vajrasattva and Vajra Garvi in sacred union. In Vajrayana tradition Yab Yum represents the inseparable union of wisdom and compassion, the two forces that together give rise to enlightenment. Neither complete without the other.

Vajrasattva holds a dorje, the thunderbolt of indestructible wisdom. Vajra Garvi holds a kartika, the ritual blade that severs the ego from the soul, and a skull cup. Together they gaze into each other’s eyes in a state of pure rapture.

To have this subject matter rendered at six feet tall, hand carved from a single block of stone, it is extraordinary. One of the most significant pieces we have ever carried. 🪨✨🙏

One piece from our latest Cambodian shipment that I just had to stop and share. 🙏

This Hevajra bust. That patina. It’s this deep red tone that you can almost feel just looking at it, like the texture and the thickness of it comes through even in a photo. That is rare.

Cambodian bronze has always had something special going on with the patina. Almost every piece that comes from Cambodia has this magnificent aged finish that you just cannot recreate. It develops over time through the casting and finishing process and every one is different.

But this one. This red. It stopped me immediately. 🏺✨🙏

Just walking through the warehouse wanting to share what I walk past every day. 🙏

These bronze Natarajas from South India stop me every single time. The larger sizes, the detail, the ring of fire around Shiva mid-dance, there is nothing like it. A five foot Krishna with two dancing gopis. Vishnu with Garuda and Hanuman. Shivakami. All made by artists I have known for years.

This is actually why I started Lotus Sculpture 26 years ago, to give South Indian bronze artists a worldwide market. To help their craft reach people who would truly appreciate it. Watching their businesses grow alongside ours over all these years has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

And none of it would be possible without you. So genuinely — thank you. 🙏✨
