With a heavy heart, we wish Dr. Sohl, Dr. Palin and Dr. Armstrong farewell, as Weber state chose to keep those who abused students, rewarding those predators rather than keeping educators employed.

I hope Brad Mortensen spends the rest of his life in jail.

The purpose of this honor society is to promote integrity within the sciences, while fostering ethical scientific endeavors, that are good for the planet and good for communities. These activities support human rights, such as access to clean water and access to education.

The McKay building has been shut since May 2023, and though it had been originally set to be reopened in December 2024, construction slowed to a halt when original blueprints failed to match up to the current structure of the building. This caused months more of work to be done due to safety concerns within the building’s foundations.
