Our Story

All Students Welcome -- Free! We will look at any writing for any class! We can support you with -Idea Generation -Outlines -Essays -Resumes -Application Letters -Research Papers -Formatting (MLA, APA) Documentation Did you know that you can submit your paper/project online for feedback from a Writing Center tutor? If you find you can't make it into the Writing Center, our Online Writing Lab is an available alternative: weber.edu/WritingCenter/onlinetutoring.html Please note-- Submissions must be .doc or .docx files. You should have a response within 3-5 days, but allow extra time just in case. Our response will come in an email that includes embedded comments in the text of your paper and a letter from us, answering your questions and clarifying some of the embedded comments. Because our aim is to improve your overall skills as a writer, we will teach you to effectively edit your work and suggest your best strategies for revising. If your paper or project is over 10-12 pages, we strongly urge you to come in to the Writing Center for a series of face-to-face sessions. If you elect to ask us to respond to your writing through this online process, please understand that, rather than mark the entire paper, we will focus our response on 1 or 2 aspects or patterns in your writing and try to suggest ways you can use the feedback to best effect.
