Congratulations to Professor Varalli-Claypool on her well-earned retirement!

We are forever grateful for her work over the years championing IPE at OU especially in support of our Unity Clinic and simulation programming. We’ll miss having her here on campus but wish her a fun-filled retirement!

Congrats to Christi Barbee, AuD, CCC-A, F-AAA, Raina Leckie, DSW, LCSW, Peyton Hooper, OTS, Lisa Milhan, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, and Jennifer Tetnowski, Ph.D., CCC-SLP (pictured left to right) on their fantastic presentation at the Collaborating Across Borders conference on Thursday, 5/29!

Collaborating Across Borders (CAB) is the premier North American conference focused on interprofessional education and collaborative healthcare. The conference takes place every two years and alternates between US and Canadian host cities.

This year’s CAB was held in Omaha where the team’s presentation, “Stakeholders’ Perceptions of Teamwork and Their Correlation to a Client-centered Outcome Measure”, showcased their findings from the Unity Clinic at John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center in the College of Allied Health.

Following the Unity Appreciation Awards at Nicholson Tower, we hosted the third annual Unity Week Poster Hall. The poster hall provides students from across the OU campuses to showcase their work, practice presenting research, receive feedback and questions, as well as promote understanding across a multitude of health care fields of study.
