National School Counseling Week 2026 is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate their work and impact on students' futures.

Across our state, school counselors are key partners in the Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP), helping students see themselves succeeding at our state's public universities.

We’d like to hear from you! If you are a high school student in Washington, or the parent/caregiver of these students, please take a short survey (about 10 minutes) to share your thoughts on the Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP).

WAGAP is here to help students understand their college admission options. If you meet the basic requirements—like a 3.0 GPA—you’re on track to guaranteed admission to six Washington universities.

Even if you haven’t heard of WAGAP before, we’d still like to hear from you. Your feedback will help us learn what’s working well and how WAGAP can better support students.

As a thank you, 30 students AND 30 parents/caregivers who complete the survey will be randomly chosen to receive a $25 gift card!

¡Nos gustaría conocer tu opinión! Si eres estudiante de preparatoria en Washington, o padre, madre o tutor(a) de un estudiante, te invitamos a responder una breve encuesta (aproximadamente 10 minutos) para compartir tus comentarios sobre el Programa de Admisión Garantizada de Washington (WAGAP).

El objetivo de WAGAP es ayudar a los estudiantes a comprender sus opciones de admisión universitaria. Si cumples con los requisitos básicos, como tener un promedio mínimo de 3.0, estás en camino de obtener admisión garantizada a seis universidades de Washington.

The Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP) continues to expand, now partnering with 132 school districts and 17 additional schools across the state! 🎉

WAGAP offers Washington high school students a clear path to earning a bachelor’s degree, ensuring that if you’re ready for college, there’s a spot for you at one of our public universities.

Participating universities: Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, The Evergreen State College, University of Washington Tacoma, Washington State University, Western Washington University.

This program is about making college possible for all—by breaking down barriers and raising awareness about higher education. Together, we’re opening doors for students across Washington.
