Jenna Kalar: Freshman history maker💙📚

Congrats go out to Jenna Kalar as she is the first-ever Clipper Women's golfer to be selected to the All-League team!

"I am incredibly proud of Jenna for earning Second Team All-League honors," said Head Coach Russ Olsen. "For any player to receive All-League recognition is a major achievement, but for Jenna to do it in her first year is truly special."

Jenna consistently finished as the top Clipper Women's golfer throughout the season and even finished as the runner-up in the Blue Mountain Invitational, shooting 82 on both days for the tournament!

"It’s an honor to be the first Clipper Women's athlete to receive All-League! It makes me feel proud of the work that I put in this season," said Jenna Kalar. "I would like to thank the people who have got me to the level I am today; my coaches Gregg Patterson and Russ Olsen! My dad has also been a big part of where I am right now for always supporting me with golf."

Great work, Jenna! ⛳👏

Weston Potter: A freshman wonder 🪄✨

A big congratulations goes out to Clipper Men's golfer Weston Potter on his selection to the NWAC All-League Second Team!

"I am incredibly proud of Weston for earning this honor," said Head Coach Russ Olsen. "He stepped up in big moments all season and this is a well-deserved reward for his dedication."

Weston found his groove in the last two league matches, finishing as the best Clipper in both tournaments with a +8 performance in the SPSCC league match and +4 in the Olympic match, where he finished tied for 9th and tied for 5th overall, respectively.

"Coming in as a freshman here at SPSCC, I always had — and still have — big goals," said Weston Potter. "I think this is a good step in the right direction. It’s a great start to my college golf career, and I’m honored and thankful to be selected into the NWAC Second Team. I’m really excited for more golf to come."

Unfortunately, we weren't able to qualify as a team to the NWAC Championships but all four of our Clipper Women's Golfers have punched their ticket as individual participants! 💙🙌🎊
