SPSCC Corporate & Continuing Education invites you to Watercolor Portrait Painting: a four-week course open to all skill levels. With guided instruction and independent studio time, you’ll learn watercolor techniques and concepts to create a compelling portrait. Inspired by renowned portrait artist Ali Cavanaugh, this class makes portrait painting approachable, even if you’re new to drawing portraits.

SPSCC has been named the 2026 ACT Impact & Success Award recipient! This award recognizes institutions that demonstrate leadership in expanding access, strengthening student support, and improving outcomes, especially for first-generation and low-income students.

“This award reflects SPSCC’s deep commitment to student success,” said Dr. Timothy Stokes, SPSCC President. “We are proud of the work our staff and faculty have done to remove barriers, strengthen pathways, and ensure every student has the support they need to achieve their goals.”
