The UNO Religious Studies and Tri-Faith Initiative of Omaha's International Research Conference held in Jerusalem is complete. Many thanks to our hosts at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute, the Shalom Hartman Institute, and the Pontifical Biblical Institute in addition to our fantastic organizing committee and participating scholars – especially those from the University of Nebraska. Please go to our conference website to find recordings of keynotes and special events like the Rabbi Sidney and Jane Brooks Lecture with Rabbi Aryeh Azriel and the Leonard and Shirley Goldstein Lecture on Human Rights with Reza Aslan. The conference was a great success and we look forward to publishing a volume based upon our work. Don't miss the upcoming Goldstein Lecture on Human Rights, presented by the Rev. Dr. Gary Mason. Mason was a key player in the Northern Ireland Good Friday Peace Agreement. He is a close advisor to Protestant ex-combatants on the civilianisation efforts of paramilitaries. In 2009, Mason’s church was the stage from which Loyalist paramilitaries announced their weapons decommissioning.
