UNO is proud to announce that Garrett Connely, a junior double majoring in international studies and political science, has been selected as one of the 2024 cohort of Newman Civic Fellows. The fellowship represents a group of student civic leaders from 38 states, Washington, D.C., and Mexico.

Thrilled to welcome Joe to UNO Honors this fall--with all our excellent incoming new students!

Already busy this summer with a Scott Scholars internship doing work for the U.S. Air Force, Joe Conner will begin his UNO journey this fall, studying chemistry and likely physics with dreams of pursuing a career in nuclear chemistry.
