The Nebraska Ivy Foundation, Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit subsidiary of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®’s Delta Epsilon Omega Chapter, is excited to host our upcoming “High Tea Honors: Celebrating our Community Leaders and Scholarship Recipients” on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Champions Run Clubhouse, 13800 Eagle Run Drive from 5 to 8 pm.

We cordially invite community members to attend this “Kentucky Derby” inspired affair for a great evening celebrating organizations making an impact in Greater Omaha and scholars who have shown excellence during their educational journeys.

The cocktail/social hour will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m., with dinner, a brief program and honors immediately following. Event tickets can be purchased for $80 until June 4 through the link below:

A great day Advocating for Social Justice with our Lincoln sisters and undergraduates.

This morning chapter members alongside our undergraduates, family and friends kicked off our “Sisters Serving on Saturday” series at Food Bank for the Heartland.

Collectively we packed 284 boxes (7,100 pounds) of food in under TWO HOURS supporting those in need around our community. 🩷💚

We look forward to continuing this service effort in the months to come and thank our Sisterly Relations Committee for leading this initiative.

The Delta Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, in partnership with The Nebraska Ivy Foundation, Incorporated, is proud to announce the launch of our scholarship program for the 2026-2027 academic year. 💚🩷

We are now accepting applications from outstanding students who exhibit academic excellence, strong leadership and a commitment to service until March 27, 2026.

Scholarship Categories:

🩷 Ruth Patrick Thomas Scholarship – Open to high school seniors who will be enrolling in a four-year college or university in the fall.

💚 Delta Epsilon Omega scholarship – Open to students pursuing undergraduate, graduate or professional degrees.

On this day, we did more than step pretty.. We made a FIRST move that secured the legacy.

On January 29, 1913, led by the visionary and fearless Nellie M. Quander, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® became officially incorporated and protected. Sister Nellie’s leadership ensured that what our Founders built would not only last, but be preserved with intention, structure, and foresight.

This was legacy protection in real time. This was a woman seeing ahead, standing on business, and safeguarding the future of our sisterhood.

113 years later, we are still benefiting from that bold decision, built on Principle, Preservation, and Perpetuity.
