Throwback Thursday!
The NWC Symphonic Band went on their Adventures in Iowa tour March 26-29. They shared their musical gifts and the love of Christ in schools, churches, colleges, and assisted living communities!

Wow! What a great time together last night to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our country! The Jazz Band performed a program inspired by the USO shows of the 1940s which were designed to increase morale for the troops and families affected by WWII. In the same way we were reminded of the freedoms we have in America thanks to those who risked their lives to fight for us! Those of us who have not physically fought may feel as though we do not deserve this freedom. Similarly we are reminded of the fact that we are so undeserving of the love and grace that is found in Christ Jesus and His sacrifice for all of us on the cross.

Thank you to Corky Koerselman for being our announcer yesterday evening. Thank you to the American Legion for presenting the colors. Thank you to our vocalists, Abbie Jo Segerstrom, Morgan Leigh Huls, and Allyson Taylor for sharing your talents. Thank you to Mr. Titus Landegent for joining us on the drums.

Last but not least, thank you so much to all of the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. Your sacrifice is appreciated beyond words!

What a beautiful concert by the Women’s Choir and the String Orchestra yesterday evening! The orchestra presented some of the greatest orchestra pieces of all time while the women’s choir sang a diverse array of styles languages!

Thank you to our seniors of the orchestra for their dedication these past several years! You will be missed!

Make sure to join us tonight for our final concert of the school year! The Jazz Band is so excited to celebrate the 250th year of the country that we call home!
