The first HOME football game is here, and SAC asked Creative Dining to fire up the grills to celebrate!

Join us for the SAC Tailgate Party on the Campus Green before we cheer on our Raiders!

MEET HANNAH FRAHM 📸

It’s time to introduce the person who’s usually on the OTHER side of our SAC posts!

Meet Hannah Frahm, our SAC photographer and a member of the Class of 2029!

📍 Hometown: State Center, Iowa
📚 Major: Double major in Public Relations + Writing & Digital Media

📸 NWC Involvements: Cheer, Campus Ministry Team, Athletic Communications Photographer, Women’s Choir, and now SAC!

👑 Fun Fact: When she’s back home, you can also call her Queen Hannah! She currently serves as the Central Iowa Fair Queen.

⛸️ Favorite SAC Event: Glow Skate

🥤 Her Dirty Soda: Cream soda + chocolate + toasted marshmallow + sweet cream. Basically dessert in a cup.

🎬 Favorite Movies: ALL of The Hunger Games movies…but The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes takes the top spot.

🙌 Favorite Worship Song: “Goodbye Yesterday” by Elevation Rhythm & Gracie Binion

LABOR DAY WEEKEND IS HERE! 🇺🇸

When classes end, the weekend begins,
So shake off the syllabus shock and go make some wins!
Take a deep breath, let the homework wait…
You survived the first weeks, and that feels pretty great.

Friday night, head out to the sand,
Watch the tournament, then jump in and play if you can!
The competition is real, but when brackets are through,
The courts are wide open for a game with your crew.

Friday + Saturday, there’s soccer to see,
The NWC Pizza Ranch Classic is the place to be!
Cheer on the Raiders, both women and men,
Grab some friends and come cheer them on again!

Saturday at 8, find yourself a seat,
“Toy Story 5” makes the weekend complete!
The Proscenium Theatre is where you should go…
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

Or maybe Sioux Falls is calling your name,
LifeLight is FREE, and definitely worth its fame!
Christian music, a festival, a road trip too,
Pile in the car and bring your whole crew.

Whatever you choose, whether busy or slow,
Give yourself permission to rest and let go.
The semester is young, there’s plenty to do…

MEET JACK BIRKLAND 🥳

Next up in our SAC Student Leader introductions is Jack Birkland, a sophomore from Story City, Iowa!

Jack is studying Civil Engineering, and he already put those skills to work with a civil engineering internship this summer…spending plenty of hours working under the sun. ☀️ When he’s not engineering something, you can find him singing in Choir or casually carrying the title of SAC Spikeball Champion. 🏆

Next up in our SAC Student Leader introductions is Morgan Reetz, a sophomore from Wilmont, Minnesota…and a pretty big deal at the Minnesota State Fair. 👀

Morgan JUST took home Reserve Champion Slick Steer at the Minnesota State Fair! 🐂🏆 So when she’s not busy showing champion steers, you can find her on the softball field or helping SAC bring some fun to campus.
