Chapman University Student Philanthropy Initiative Inspiring a legacy of support and CU pride from one panther to the next. Student Philanthropy Initiative is the Chapman donor recognition committee.

We are Chapman students who educate the Chapman community about donor philanthropy to the university, while cultivating gratitude among the students. During the fall semester, we focus on educational items such as donor and scholarship recipient spotlights, weekly “Did You Know” facts, Infographs, flowcharts, promotional videos, and more to raise awareness about donors’ generosity and how it enric

hes students’ experiences at Chapman. During the spring semester, we create opportunities for students to thank donors for their giving. For example, we organize an annual event called Thank-a-Donor where students have the opportunity to write personal appreciation letters to donors that make Chapman extraordinary.

Hello Everyone! Thank a donor is a little more than a week away. I hope that you are all looking forward to spreading the panther pride and showing some appreciation to our donors on February 29-March 3 in the Piazza and Student Union! Hope to see you all there!
