Tomorrow is the day! The OCtech Foundation's Home and Garden Symposium begins with catered brunch and a silent auction at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, in Building R, followed by live demonstrations by Orangeburg native and manager at Cricket Newman Designs Ellen Benton. This wonderful spring event raises money to help students with the cost of attending college and support additional educational projects that connect them to a world of possibilities. to students Caleb Ulmer, Ryan Williams and Mia Scott! Caleb and Ryan placed first and Mia placed third in their respective categories during the 42nd annual Technical College Welding Skills Competition. Caleb also placed third statewide at SkillsUSA in individual welding. Caleb and Ryan received their associate degrees at last week's spring commencement ceremony.
