Headquartered in Chicago for over 118 years, Ferrara is making history with its first South Carolina operation in Orangeburg County. This transformative $675 million investment will bring approximately 1,000 manufacturing and corporate jobs over the next 10 years, along with the construction of a state-of-the-art 750,000-square-foot facility.

For generations, Black nurses educated through the Columbia Hospital School of Nursing helped transform healthcare in South Carolina and beyond. Last week, members of the Columbia Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association visited Claflin University to continue that legacy by making a generous investment in scholarships for future nurses studying at Claflin. Their commitment honors the resilience, compassion, and excellence of the pioneering nurses who opened doors for so many who followed. We are grateful for this meaningful partnership and proud to help carry their legacy forward for future generations of healthcare leaders.
