About the Position
Gabb is looking for several skilled Content Writers to produce content around the topic of safe technology for kids! This position will create digital written content directed towards parents in a conversational, but authoritative, tone to educate them on how to protect kids, connect families and live life outside the screen.
An integral part of writing this type of content will be searching peer-reviewed research articles for relevant data and information. You will play a significant role in our mission to help protect kids by enriching our website with articles to empower parents as they raise their children in the 21st century.
Responsibilities
Conducting thorough research on peer-reviewed articles for relevant topics
Preparing well-structured drafts for editors to give input and approval
After feedback, producing several well-researched articles per week, with each article being ~1,500 words
Conducting simple keyword research and implementing findings for SEO
Recommending new topics to add to our content library
Adhering to brand voice and style guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, or similar emphases (completed or working towards completion)
Excellent grasp of English grammar, language and writing
Outstanding writing and editing skills
Must be able to commit to 10-20 hours per week, $20 per hour
Ability to work independent with little to no daily supervision, one weekly team meeting to be expected
Capability to work from home, in-office work (Lehi) is available if needed
Familiarity with Google Docs
Strong attention to detail
