The Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico was proud to participate in Rebuilding Together Greater Florida’s Fixin’ Up the Neighborhood (F.U.N.) Event in Tildenville, Winter Garden.
University faculty members, Civil Engineering students, Admissions staff, and representatives from the Orlando Campus joined this community revitalization initiative, demonstrating the University’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities it serves.
In partnership with Orange County Government, community organizations, and local businesses, volunteers came together to revitalize 14 homes through exterior painting, highlighting the impact of collaboration and collective action.
Building strong community partnerships is a strategic goal of the University, while social responsibility remains a core institutional value. Through initiatives like this, the University strengthens its ties with the community, promotes civic engagement, and empowers future engineers and professionals to contribute to the well-being of society.
