The scoreboard only tells part of the story, however. Space exploration is hard. Things will go wrong. Parts will fail, codes will crash, regolith doesn’t behave the way you planned. What matters is how you respond.
The innovation, tenacity, camaraderie, and passion we saw over the last few days holds more value than any points ever could. That’s what will carry these students to the Moon and beyond.
Thank you Caterpillar Inc. for your sponsoring of the event and investing in the future of lunar exploration.
Thank you to every team, advisor, judge, and volunteer who made this year’s competition possible, and to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration SSERVI for creating an event that’s training the next generation of lunar explorers.
