Thank you to everyone who showed up today to remember, honor, and reflect. Your presence mattered.

A very special thank you to UCF Public Safety & Police Chief Robin Griffin-Kitzerow for her powerful remarks and for reminding us of the courage, sacrifice, and service that define our community.

🏆 Shoutout to UCF Rowing UCF Rowing — BIG 12 CHAMPIONS! Thank you for showing up and helping us honor those we lost. Your presence represents the strength, discipline, and teamwork that make UCF special.

🇺🇸 And thank you to UCF Air Force ROTC | Detachment 159 and UCF Army ROTC for your professionalism and commitment to honoring the fallen and carrying forward the legacy of service.

Today was about more than remembering September 11, 2001. It was about ensuring that we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the responsibility we all share to remember.

Stronger partnerships. Greater impact. One mission. 🇺🇸💛

Today, MVSS had the privilege of hosting the AUSA Sunshine Chapter for a great conversation about collaboration, strengthening our partnership, and finding new ways to support UCF’s military-connected students and the broader military community.

We were also excited to give our AUSA partners a tour of the new Military and Veteran Success Center and share our vision for how this space can serve as a hub for connection, opportunity, and success.

Partnerships like this allow us to do more…connecting military-connected students with resources, mentors, professional networks, and a community that understands their journey.

We’re grateful for the AUSA Sunshine Chapter’s continued support and look forward to what we can accomplish together. The best is yet to come!

🇺🇸 Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of UCF’s new Military & Veteran Success Center! This new space is more than a building. It’s a place where military-connected students can find community, build connections, access support, and feel a true sense of belonging throughout their UCF journey.

We are proud to be part of a university that recognizes the unique experiences and contributions of our veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and all military-connected students. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special milestone, including our students, student leaders from UCF Student Government, Air Force ROTC | Detachment 159 campus partners, community supporters, and UCF leaders whose vision and commitment helped make this center a reality.
