Brothers, Mike Ryan (ZO’77) recently exchanged communications with Bill’s life partner. She has some of Bill’s Fraternity memorabilia and will be getting a box containing these items to me this summer. He’ll be turning it over to the Chapter in the Fall. As for the celebration of his life is concerned; it has yet to be scheduled, but she did say that she will relay the details when it has been scheduled, and at present, it will be later this summer. Those who are interested in making a memorial gift in Bill’s name, he left instructions to have those gifts be made to the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation. With the end of the spring semester, the Zeta Omicron chapter of Delta Tau Delta is honored to congratulate these four brothers on their graduation:

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our original Charter President, Brother Bill (Buff) Kaufmann has joined the Chapter Eternal earlier this day. We will truly miss his witty comments and leadership advice. Below is the message posted by his partner, Mary Donnini, on Bill’s personal page:

“It is with profound sadness that I share the news of Bill’s passing. Bill fought a year long battle with a very aggressive cancer. We went through many highs and lows, but being the optimist that he was he focused on the positives. Your support and encouragement through this journey helped him power through.
I know many of you virtually shared our Caribbean trips. Our relationship slogan was “BUY THE TICKETS, TAKE THE TRIP, EAT THE FOOD, DRINK THE DRINKS, AND WATCH THE SUNSET”
Our sun has set but he will always have a special place in my 💜.
Thank you all for sharing this journey with us and for all of the love and support you have sent to Bill.

Congrats to Rhys Francisco on being nominated our April Brother of the Month!

Position: Social Media Chair

Outside of school Rhys proudly represents our chapter in the professional setting as he works as a Sports Med & Rehab Technician at the Orlando Magic Adventhealth Training Center working with high-performance athletes ranging from the NCAA, MLB, NFL, and NBA.

As a member of Alpha Class, Rhys has played a key role in shaping the chapter’s public image through his work as Director of Communications. He also served as Co-Philanthropy Chair, helping organize the chapter’s first philanthropy week since reinstallation and setting a strong foundation for future events. Following his tenure, he continues to support the chapter as Social Media Chair 🙌

This Spring Philanthropy Week, Delta Tau Delta is taking it international in honor of the upcoming World Cup this summer. Every event is a match. Every donation is a goal. Each chapter is playing for something bigger than themselves 🙌
