UCF Global welcomed our current and newest Pathway and Intensive English Program students to our Welcome Pizza Party for Fall 2026! It was the perfect excuse to grab a slice, meet someone new, catch up with old friends, and pretend we weren’t all going back for “just one more” piece of pizza.

Our returning students helped welcome the new faces, friendships started forming, and somehow the pizza disappeared faster than anyone could explain.

Because starting a new chapter is a lot more fun when you have good people around you… and pizza.

Today marked the return of one of our favorite weekly events, Popcorn, Conversations, and Games, and nearly 80 students joined us at our new location, Egmont Key in the Student Union.

We were so excited to see such a great mix of people, including faculty, staff, new and returning Pathway and IEP students, and even master's students.

As always, our favorite part wasn't the popcorn. It was watching students who walked in knowing no one leave with new friends, new connections, and a stronger sense of belonging. This is exactly what this event is all about.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the event such a success. We can't wait for the next one!

As part of our UCF Global Fall Orientation, we took 50 Phd, Masters, Undergraduate, Exchange, and Pathway Students to have fun at Disney Springs. It was HOT, but we all still had a wonderful time. A huge thank you to all the students who sent me in their photos to make this memory reel possible!

Fall Semester is always so exciting! There is nothing quite like Fall energy, and this year’s Welcome Knights! Event hosted by was the perfect way to kick things off.

Our newly arrived international students came together to connect, explore, and start building their UCF community. Students met with UCF campus partners including CAPS, Career Services, UCF Libraries, Student Health Services, SGA, OSI, and several student organizations, along with community partners for banking resources and more. They discovered just how easy it can be to make UCF feel a little more like home!

Fall 2026 is officially underway, and our international Knights are already bringing an incredible energy to campus. Welcome to UCF. We are so glad you’re here!

A big welcome to our newest Intensive English Program students at UCF!

Over the past two days, we have been getting to know campus, learning our way around, meeting new people, and settling into life as a Knight. There is always a lot to take in when you first arrive at a new university, especially when that university is in a new country.

But learning English is about so much more than classroom lessons and bookwork. It is about having conversations, asking questions, meeting people, experiencing American culture, and becoming part of the community around you.

Our students are not just here to improve their English. They are here to build confidence, make connections, experience UCF, and become part of the Knight community.

We are excited to have you here and cannot wait to see where this journey takes you. Welcome to UCF!

Buon viaggio, Nobile Instituto!

Our Italian Knights from Nobile Instituto closed out their Youth English Program the right way; caps decorated, certificates in hand, and a graduation to remember.

Then came the grand finale: a tour of the UCF Arena and the legendary "Bounce House." They came looking for a real taste of American sports culture, and Orlando's biggest stage delivered.
Weeks of English in the classroom, a summer of Orlando adventures, and a send-off that felt truly American. That's the UCF experience.

For the past three weeks, UCF Global had the honor of hosting the 2026 Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, welcoming 22 exceptional participants from 19 countries around the world.

Throughout the program, participants strengthened their academic writing and intercultural communication skills, prepared for graduate study in the U.S., and built lasting connections with peers from across the globe.

Learning didn't stop in the classroom. From Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach to Disney Springs, St. Augustine, and Gatorland, every experience offered opportunities to explore Florida, experience American culture, and create unforgettable memories together.

What made this cohort truly special was the community they built. Despite coming from different countries and cultures, they formed friendships that will continue long after the program ends.

We are proud to have been part of our Fulbright participants' journey and look forward to seeing all they accomplish as they begin their graduate studies across the United States.

Over the past three weeks, had the pleasure of hosting 16 faculty and staff members from UniversidadSimónBolívar in Barranquilla and Cúcuta, Colombia, for an unforgettable English Immersion Program.

These outstanding educators and professionals came to UCF not only to strengthen their English language skills, but also to experience American culture, expand their professional knowledge, and build meaningful international connections. Throughout the program, they developed their Academic Writing skills with Dr. Marcio and strengthened their Speech and Presentation skills with Jorri Bright, giving them valuable tools they can take back to their classrooms and careers.

One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity for our Unisimón participants to regularly interact with the Fulbright Pre- Academic Program participants. These conversations created authentic opportunities to practice English while also sharing cultures, perspectives, and experiences from around the world. It was incredible to watch friendships form across countries and continents.

We were also honored by a special visit from the President of Universidad Simón Bolívar, Dr. Consuegra. His visit reflected the strength of the partnership between our two institutions and our shared commitment to international education and collaboration.

Our hope is that UCF Global and Universidad Simón Bolívar continue to strengthen this wonderful partnership for many years to come. Although they arrived as strangers, they left as family, and we cannot wait to welcome them back to campus again.

Congratulations to our July Youth English Program graduates!

This summer, students from American Explorer Academy (Colombia) and Nobile Instituto (Italy) joined UCF Global in the mornings for classes with faculty from our Intensive English Program, afternoons and weekends exploring everything that makes Orlando one of the world's great destinations with their groups.

UCF's Rosen College, just minutes from Universal Epic Universe, was an ideal location for their adventures.

New friendships, new confidence, and a whole lot of English. To our graduates and the partners who sent them to us: thank you.

Sun, surf, and unforgettable memories! 🌊☀️🏄‍♂️

Our Learn to Surf trip partnered with UCF Outdoor Adventure was one for the books! From catching first waves to cheering each other on, it was amazing to see students step outside their comfort zone and experience Florida’s surf culture together.
